Ardus Kaine was a high-ranking Imperial officer who became the Grand Moff of the Pentastar Alignment, a faction that emerged after the fall of the Galactic Empire. A loyalist to Emperor Palpatine, Kaine commanded the Imperial Oversector Outer and later established the Pentastar Alignment, consolidating power in the Outer Rim.

Known for his strategic mind and political influence, Kaine sought to maintain Imperial control in the post-Palpatine era. His leadership shaped the remnants of the Empire, but his rule was cut short when he was assassinated, leaving the Pentastar Alignment vulnerable to internal and external threats.
