Admiral Conan Antonio Motti was a high-ranking officer in the Imperial Navy and one of the most outspoken critics of the Force. Serving aboard the Death Star, he was infamous for his arrogance and unwavering belief in the Empire’s military power.

During a meeting with Darth Vader and other Imperial officers, Motti openly mocked the Force, claiming that the Death Star’s firepower was the true key to dominance. In response, Vader used a Force choke to silence him, delivering the iconic line: “I find your lack of faith disturbing.”

A symbol of the Empire’s military confidence—and its overconfidence—Motti remains one of the most memorable Imperial officers in Star Wars history.
