Who is?
Galen Erso is a significant character in the Star Wars universe, particularly featured in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." A brilliant scientist and engineer, Galen is coerced by the Galactic Empire to work on the development of the Death Star's superlaser. Despite his initial reluctance, he secretly embeds a critical vulnerability into the Death Star's design, which later becomes instrumental in its destruction. Galen's actions are driven by his deep love for his daughter, Jyn Erso, and his desire to atone for his role in creating the Empire's superweapon. His character highlights themes of sacrifice, redemption, and the impact of moral choices in times of conflict.
