Moff Isdain was a human male who served as a Moff in the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era. He was among several Imperial officers, including Captain Gilad Pellaeon, who attended a briefing aboard an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer in orbit above Coruscant. This briefing was conducted by Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth and focused on the design of the TIE/d "Defender" Multi-Role Starfighter. 

The rank of Moff designated a sector governor within the Galactic Empire, granting both political and military authority over their designated regions. Moffs played a crucial role in maintaining Imperial control across the galaxy.

In the fan-made series "Star Wars: Tales of the Empire," Moff Isdain is voiced by Tom Konkle.
