Pilot Garven Dreis is a character from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. He is a Rebel Alliance pilot and a member of Red Squadron, the unit that plays a crucial role in the Battle of Yavin.

Garven Dreis is portrayed by actor Stephen Dunham. In the film, he is seen leading Red Squadron and participating in the attack on the Death Star. His leadership and flying skills are instrumental in the battle's success. Dreis, like other pilots in Red Squadron, is equipped with an X-wing fighter and is part of the coordinated effort to exploit the Death Star's weaknesses and ultimately destroy it.
